Sloppy Joes Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
- 1 small Onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 500 grams of Ground Beef
- 1 small Red Pepper, diced
- 1 cup of Tomato Passata
- ¼ cup of Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of Mustard Powder
- ½ teaspoon of Pepper, ground
- 4 Burger Buns, to serve
- ½ cup of Cheddar Cheese, shredded
How to Make Sloppy Joes

- Place a saucepan over high heat and add the oil, onion, and salt. Saute for 5 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef and saute until browned.
- Mix in the remaining ingredients (except the buns and cheddar).
- Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the mixture is thick and saucy.
- Serve on a burger bun, topped with cheddar cheese and mayonnaise.
