Double Cheese Beef Burgers Ingredients
- 1 kilogram Ground Beef
- 2 cloves of Garlic, crushed
- 1 Onion, finely diced
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons of Cumin, ground
- 2 teaspoons of Salt
- 1/2 cup of Tomato Passata
- 1 cup of Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup of Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup of Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Japanese Mayonnaise
How to make Double Cheese Beef Burgers
- Preheat the oven to 200C/390F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Add all the ingredients, except the 2 cheeses and mayonnaise, into a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cheddar, mozzarella and mayonnaise.
- Divide the meat into two balls. Use a rolling pin to roll the mixture into two large rectangles which are 1cm thick.
- Take a 93mm/3.5in cookie cutter and cut as many circles from the two rectangles as possible. Remove the excess mince from around the outside of the circles and reserve for later.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture to the middle of half the meat circles, and press down lightly.
- Cover the cheese with one of the plain meat circles and pinch the sides to encase the cheese. Repeat until all the meat and cheese mixture is used up.
- Bake for 20 minutes, until cooked through.
- Serve immediately.
